How therapy in South Carolina works
I see South Carolina clients through the state’s telehealth registration for counselors licensed in other states. That registration covers online sessions only, so all South Carolina sessions are by video.
Sessions happen by video from home, or anywhere private where you feel comfortable talking.

Questions
Do I need to be in South Carolina for sessions?
Yes. For a South Carolina session you need to be physically located in South Carolina at the time of the session, because that’s where my SC credential applies.
Do you take Healthy Connections Medicaid or other insurance?
No. I’m not contracted with any insurance panels, including Healthy Connections Medicaid, so sessions are self-pay. I can give you a superbill if you’d like to ask your plan about out-of-network reimbursement.
Can we meet in person in South Carolina?
No, sessions in South Carolina are online only. In-person sessions are available in Renton, Washington.
