Rosalie Salazar, MS, LPC, LMHC · Trauma & anxiety therapy
Trauma therapy that begins with feeling safe.
Online therapy in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, South Carolina and Washington, plus in-person sessions in Renton, WA. Helping you reconnect with your true, authentic self.
Everybody heals differently.
I get to know each client and tailor therapy to fit your needs, drawing on approaches that work with both the mind and the body.
Calming the nervous system
Safe and Sound Protocol, a listening program of filtered music, helps an overactive nervous system settle so you can stay in your window as therapy moves forward. DBT adds practical skills for distress and emotions.
Processing what happened
EMDR and Brainspotting help the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they lose their grip. Post Induction Therapy addresses the childhood trauma behind codependency and addiction.
Understanding yourself
Internal Family Systems works with the inner parts that pull against each other. CBT helps you notice the thought patterns behind overwhelming feelings.

Questions
How do I get started?
Book a free 15-minute Zoom consult online, or call (480) 561-4896. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and whether I’m a good fit.
Who do you work with?
Adults, in individual therapy. I don’t see children or teens, and I don’t offer couples therapy. I especially enjoy working with fellow clinicians, both as clients and through clinical supervision and consultation.
Do you take insurance?
No. I’m not contracted with any insurance panels, so sessions are self-pay. I can give you a superbill if you’d like to ask your plan about out-of-network reimbursement.
Can we meet in person?
In Washington, yes: I see clients at Talbot Medical Center in Renton on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Sessions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and South Carolina are online.
Do I need to live in one of your states?
You need to be located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, South Carolina or Washington at the time of each session, because that’s where I’m licensed.
Can I bring my partner or a family member?
Yes, to one of your individual sessions. A session with a family member or significant other present is one hour and $215. It’s still your therapy, not couples or family therapy.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, if you aren’t using insurance you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care. Ask me for one at any time.
What if I’m in crisis?
I’m not able to provide emergency care. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
Take the first small step.
The quickest way is to book a free Zoom consult online. You can also call, email, or send a note and I’ll get back to you.
