How therapy in California works
Sessions in California are online. California calls its professional counselor license an LPCC, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, so that’s the title you’ll see on my California license.
Sessions happen by video from home, or anywhere private where you feel comfortable talking.

Questions
Do I need to be in California for sessions?
Yes. For a California session you need to be physically located in California at the time of the session, because that’s where my CA credential applies.
Do you take Medi-Cal or other insurance?
No. I’m not contracted with any insurance panels, including Medi-Cal, so sessions are self-pay. I can give you a superbill if you’d like to ask your plan about out-of-network reimbursement.
Can we meet in person in California?
No, sessions in California are online only. In-person sessions are available in Renton, Washington.
